If i would present to you a life oblivious to pain but filled with pain you cannot feel, or a life of joy that you cannot feel, which one would you choose?

Being oblivious to pain. As that choice is the one that is harder to achieve while we are in fact able to have joys in life yet we sometimes become unable to feel that joy for various reasons, I do believe that some of our suffering and pain is due to being aware of it or acknowledging it as is, and the lack of disdain towards situations can lead to happiness, would a person who is being punished feel punishment if they are fully unaware and incapable of feeling it? You probably can’t make people feel bad if they never felt bad or know what its like or what it is to begin with, although pain gives joy the more value and purpose to our life all the more precious this experience becomes. but life is so much easier to navigate to full potential and enjoy if nothing had robbed us of the innocence nor been introduced to pain.
